Choosing Spring Wedding Decorations

Spring wedding decorations are probably some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring that you’re going to find out of any seasonal wedding.

Having a wedding in Spring gives you an enormous amount of flexibility and the chance to experiment with a wide variety of spring wedding themes that will help you create a memorable day for everyone involved.

Your decorations should reflect everything about the wedding, the marriage, and the season of spring, so you’re going to have to think carefully before choosing which decorations to go for.

That being said, there are plenty of different ideas that might help you in terms of inspiration, and give you some practical advice. Things like knowing that the Spring weather is incredibly unpredictable, and so you’re going to need to consider how your decorations will look if, god forbid, your wedding was attacked by bad weather.

If you don’t at least consider these things, then you are perhaps just taking unnecessary risks with one of the most important day of your life. _________________________________________________________________

Another thing to remember is that churches are often already decorated for easter and the spring time. This could mean there’s less flexibility about what you can go for in terms of your theme, because it’s unlikely the church will allow you to change the decorations, but it also gives you a concrete starting point.

Most churches will have decorated with spring flowers and neutral colors to give the whole place a brighter look and there will be plenty of white candles and beautiful white drapes with gold trim scattered around.

It’s a good idea to actually go to the church to find out what has already been done and what more you can add, because you never know how each individual church will treat the spring months.

Of course, if you’re not getting married in a church, you have more flexibility in terms of your spring wedding decorations. You’re probably going to want to choose decorations that have more neutral colors, or that are fairly light.

Blue is great for a spring wedding, but it’s a bad idea to go with a strong opaque blue, because it just doesn’t fit with the grace and purity of spring. You are best sticking with paler shades of primary colors, or colors closer to being completely neutral.

You should also think about the different colors that we associate with spring, and try to add some strong bright coloring in the form of floral decorations with plenty of yellows and pinks. These will go nicely with the paler shades that you have used for your other decorations.

There are plenty of other things to consider in terms of spring wedding decorations. For example, you might want to think about having a maypole for the children to play with. This could make your wedding really stand out and give you something to base your whole theme around.

Other considerations could be easter themes that will reflect the purity and innocence of this particular holiday.
